TingaTalk ("we," "us," or "our") operates the TingaTalk mobile application (the "App") and the website located at tingatalk.com (the "Website"), collectively referred to as the "Service." This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect the personal information of users ("you" or "your") who access or use our Service. By downloading, installing, or using TingaTalk, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use our Service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us, as well as information that is generated automatically through your use of the Service.
2.1 Personal Information
When you register for an account and use TingaTalk, we collect the following personal information:
- Full name as provided during registration
- Phone number, used for account verification and login
- Gender and age, used for profile matching and compliance purposes
- Profile photograph that you upload to your account
- Any additional profile details you choose to provide
2.2 Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information when you interact with the Service, including:
- Call history, including call duration, timestamps, and call type (voice or video)
- Transaction history, including coin purchases, usage, and withdrawal records
- App activity data such as features accessed, time spent in the app, and interaction patterns
- Device information including device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and network information
- IP address and approximate geographic location
2.3 Financial Data
When you make purchases within the App, we collect coin purchase records and transaction details. Actual payment information such as credit card numbers or bank account details are processed directly by our third-party payment processors (Razorpay for Android and Apple for iOS). We do not store your complete payment credentials on our servers.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide and maintain the Service: To operate TingaTalk, enable voice and video calls, manage user profiles, and deliver core functionality.

4. Third-Party Services
TingaTalk integrates with the following third-party services to deliver our platform. Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review:
Firebase (Google)
We use Firebase for user authentication (phone number verification), cloud data storage (Firestore), file storage (Firebase Storage for profile photos), and analytics. Data processed by Firebase is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Twilio
We use Twilio to power our video and voice calling infrastructure. Twilio processes call metadata necessary to establish and maintain connections. Call content is not recorded or stored by TingaTalk or Twilio.
Razorpay
For Android users, coin purchases are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Razorpay collects and processes your payment information directly and is subject to its own privacy and security policies.
Apple
For iOS users, in-app purchases are handled through Apple's App Store payment system. Apple processes all payment information in accordance with its own privacy policy and terms of service.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your personal data is stored on Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) servers. Google Cloud maintains data centers with robust physical security, environmental controls, and compliance certifications including ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL protocols
- Encryption of data at rest on Google Cloud servers
- Role-based access controls limiting employee access to personal data
- Regular security audits and monitoring for unauthorized access
- Secure authentication using Firebase Authentication with phone number verification
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to promptly addressing any security incidents that may occur.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. You can view most of your data directly within the App under your profile settings.
- Right to correction: You may update or correct inaccurate personal information through your profile settings within the App, or by contacting us directly.
- Right to deletion: You may delete your account and associated data at any time through Profile > Settings > Delete Account. You may also request deletion by emailing us.
- Right to withdraw consent: Where we rely on your consent to process personal data, you may withdraw consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
- Right to data portability: You may request a machine-readable copy of the personal data you have provided to us, where technically feasible.

7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:
- Active accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active and you continue to use the Service.
- Deleted accounts: When you delete your account, we initiate the removal of your personal data from our active systems. This process is completed within 30 days of the deletion request. Backup copies may take up to an additional 60 days to be fully purged.
- Legal compliance: We may retain certain information for longer periods where required by applicable law, regulation, or legal proceedings. This includes transaction records that may need to be maintained for tax, accounting, or regulatory compliance purposes.
8. Children's Privacy
TingaTalk is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly allow individuals under the age of 18 to register for or use the Service.
If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information to TingaTalk, please contact us at privacy@tingatalk.com so that we can take appropriate action.
9. Cookies & Tracking
The TingaTalk mobile application does not use cookies. However, our website (tingatalk.com) may use essential cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to function properly, such as maintaining session state and ensuring security.
We do not use third-party advertising trackers, nor do we serve targeted advertisements within the App or on our Website. We do not sell, rent, or share your browsing data with advertising networks. Analytics data collected through Firebase Analytics is used solely for internal purposes to improve the Service.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by:
- Posting the updated policy on our Website with a revised effective date
- Sending a push notification or in-app notice for significant changes
- Updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page
